Mission, Vision and Objectives

 

Mission

        The mission of the college lies in spreading the legal culture and raising the level of legal awareness among all segments of society, in addition to preparing a cadre specialized in pure legal sciences and contributing to activities related to legal affairs, using the following means:-

1- Better investment of the college's resources and energies.

2- Improving the performance of human resources.

3- Preparing plans and programs to be implemented.

4- Participation of all community bodies in the field of legal specialization.

5- Develop a comprehensive plan that ensures the creation of requirements and requirements that make student outputs effective in society.

6- Spreading legal and cultural awareness among the average citizen.

Vision

The college seeks to provide university and legal education distinct from its counterparts in Iraq and the Arab countries through:-

 

1- Preparing qualified and trained graduates who possess legal capabilities and research and professional skills to carry out legal tasks .

2- Actual contribution to the development of legal culture, dissemination and guidance to serve the needs of society .

3- Upgrading the faculty member and encouraging and developing scientific research .

4- Upgrading all joints of the college to the international quality standards guaranteed by the international standard ISO 9001 version 2000 and its subsequent amendments .

5- Working to promote scientific research and publishing in international containers .

Objectives

The college seeks to achieve a number of objectives

, the most important of which are: -

1- Granting an academic university degree in law to its graduates .

2- Teaching contemporary and comparative legal sciences .

3- Setting scientific curricula for the preparation of legal students according to the needs of the profession .

4- Expanding the use of practical and theoretical rehabilitation methods in the education of students .

5- Providing a work platform that motivates faculty members to scientific research and encourages it .

6- Attention to scientific indicators, seminars and specialized seminars .

7- Working to raise the legal level of workers in the state .

8- Estimating the needs of the labor market from graduates and the specifications of the graduate desired by the market .

9- Proposing the percentage of expansion in the admission of students during the years of the plan .

10. Continuous evaluation of comprehensive performance and improvement operations in accordance with emerging requirements .

11- Providing and documenting sufficient data to support the quality system processes in the college .

12- Determining the number, type and place of specialized training courses for faculty members .

13. Identify resource needs and distribute them to disciplines and jobs to ensure the effective implementation of the quality system .

14- Learning about the types of educational technology at the global level and ways to benefit from them .

15- Continuous review of the traditions and rituals of the college, and perpetuating which contributes to enhancing the university professional culture in general and the culture of quality in particular .

16- Developing mechanisms that help to adopt the principles of (transparency, accountability and frankness).

17- Supporting and encouraging excellence through awards and disbursement of rewards to those who are truly distinguished in the academic fields (educational, research and administrative) .

18- Developing the relationship between the college and the stakeholders (government, civil society, private and government sector organizations) .
